​We've come a long way. What started as a small, scrappy venture in 1989 has grown into a nationally recognized team specializing in digital content development, governed-content quality control, marketing communications, e-learning/e-training development, multimedia, and Customer Experience AI-powered intelligence.

​​Over the years, the AESBUS in‑house innovation crew has expanded into a powerhouse of strategists, program managers, project managers, administrators, writers, trainers, designers, developers, animators, and tech thinkers who love turning complex ideas into clear, engaging experiences. Today, we’re proud to support major high-tech brands like HP, HPE, T‑Mobile, and Docuvera.
Some of the biggest technical milestones of 1989 include the invention of the World Wide Web, the release of Intel’s 80486 processor, and the launch of the first GPS satellite. Just let that sink for a minute. 

AESBUS ― ​ Greek, Italian, Latin?

AESBUS founder Earl Castor and his siblings, Coni Fox and Paul Castor, wear their UH Cougar pride loud and proud. All three are University of Houston alumni who teamed up to launch AESBUS ― a Houston‑born powerhouse in B2B Professional and Technical solutions.

And the UH Cougar legacy doesn’t stop with them. Their father, Edward E. Castor, was also a UH grad ― and a trailblazer in his own right. He founded Subsea Technology, a Houston company that helped push offshore engineering and subsea innovation forward. His entrepreneurial spark and UH‑fueled grit set the tone for the next generation, and his influence still drives the spirit and ambition behind AESBUS today.
But what on earth does AESBUS really mean? Is it Greek? Italian? ​Latin? ​It definitely raises eyebrows.
In true Castor‑family fashion, Earl decided to get clever with the name ― he took their dad’s company name, Subsea, flipped it backwards, and boom! 

​AESBUS was born! A little edgy, a little genius, and unmistakenly unique.

​On a lighter note, when the workday winds down, the AESBUS team is just as recognizable in the stadium stands as they are in the boardroom ― widely known as one of the largest tailgating crews at UH football games, proudly flying the Cougar Team Swank banner.

​Their UH Cougar pride is more than a pastime. It’s a reflection of the same energy, camaraderie, and commitment that define their work and their enduring support for UH Athletics.
