AESBUS founder Earl Castor and his siblings, Coni Fox and Paul Castor, wear their UH Cougars pride loud and proud. All three are University of Houston alumni who teamed up to launch AESBUS ― a Houston‑born powerhouse in B2B Professional and Technical Solutions.

And when the workday winds down, the AESBUS team is just as recognizable in the stadium stands as they are in the boardroom ― widely known as one of the largest tailgating crews at UH football games, proudly flying the Cougars Team Swank banner.

​Their UH Cougars pride is more than a pastime.

​It’s a reflection of the same energy, camaraderie, and commitment that define their work and their enduring support for UH Athletics.

And the UH Cougars legacy doesn’t stop with the company leaders. 

​Their father, Edward E. Castor ― also a UH engineering grad ― was a Houston business trailblazer in his own right.

He founded Subsea Technology, a Houston firm recognized internationally for its contributions to the advancement of subsea systems innovation and offshore engineering focused on designing structural and production systems at seafloor depths. 

​His entrepreneurial spark and UH‑fueled grit set the tone for the next generation, and his influence still drives the spirit and ambition behind AESBUS today.

AESBUS — what on earth does that even mean? Is it Greek, Italian, Latin…? One thing’s certain: it makes people pause.

In true Castor‑family legend mode, CEO Earl Castor came up with a company name that's carved into the storyline.  

He took his father's company name ― Subsea ― ​flipped it backwards, and BOOM! 

​AESBUS was born! A little edgy, a little genius, and unmistakenly unique.
